The mission of the Department is to provide knowledge to students in science and technology through world-class education and innovative research, empower innovators, shape the future, and provide a transformative learning experience that nurtures creativity, instills a strong foundation of knowledge, and equips students with the skills to address global challenges through cutting-edge mechanical engineering solutions — so that they are able to contribute impactfully to society, the nation and the world, and to develop the professional potential and skill of faculty, staff and students by maintaining training and education by which they can achieve lifelong ability to construct their professional careers.
